Mozilla Foundation Fellowship 2027–2028 (Mozilla Foundation)

Mozilla Foundation is choosing 10 Fellows for 2027–2028 to build technology that is too early, too unexpected or too ambitious for other funders. It is for individual builders, from people who have shipped work but aren't yet known beyond their field to established leaders ready for field-defining work. There are two tracks. Embedded Fellows work on an independent project alongside a civil society host organization (BASAibu, Fundación Kamanau, LAS Art Foundation, Quantum Village or Slum & Rural Health Initiative) and receive USD 100,000: a USD 75,000 stipend and a USD 25,000 project budget. Independent Fellows pursue their own ambitious idea and receive USD 125,000: a USD 100,000 stipend and a USD 25,000 project budget. You also join a network of over 200 Fellows across 37 countries. Focus areas include neurotech and physical AI, hard infrastructure, AI that raises the odds of a good outcome, business models for a post-agentic web, shared security for small organizations, and sovereign AI. There is also a Creative Advocacy spot and a Wildcard option if your idea doesn't fit. Start with a short Letter of Intent by December 17, 2026, 11:59 PM Pacific.
