PhD Opportunities in AI & ML Systems, University of Warwick

Warwick's AI & ML Systems Research Division is looking for PhD candidates for October 2027 entry. Research areas include scalable and safe AI, language and generative models, federated learning, trustworthy AI, multi-agent systems, vision, and embodied AI. If you have a strong background in computer science, AI, machine learning, mathematics or engineering, this is a chance to join one of the UK's leading CS departments, ranked joint 4th for research in REF 2021. Outstanding candidates can be nominated for competitive, fully funded studentships through the Computer Science CDT and university schemes such as the Chancellor's Scholarships. Scholarships may cover full tuition fees and a maintenance stipend at UK Research Council rates, typically for 3.5 years. They are open to eligible UK and international applicants. Applicants are generally expected to hold or be about to gain at least a UK 2.1 degree or equivalent in a related STEM subject. Start by contacting a potential supervisor in the division.
