Y Combinator Winter 2027 Batch

Y Combinator is a three-month programme for startup founders, run in person at its San Francisco campus. The Winter 2027 batch runs from January to March, and you do not need a finished product or any revenue to apply. About 40% of funded companies each batch are just an idea, and solo founders are accepted too. Every accepted company receives USD 500,000: USD 125,000 for 7% on a post-money SAFE, plus USD 375,000 on an uncapped SAFE with an MFN. The money arrives when you are accepted, not when the batch starts. You also get a dedicated YC General Partner, weekly meetings, a small group of fellow founders, talks from founders of companies like Airbnb and Stripe, over USD 12M in free credits and deals, and a large alumni network. If you are outside the US, YC helps with visas and incorporation after acceptance. Applications are open to startups anywhere in the world and in any field. Founders should be ready to work on the company full-time if accepted, even if they are students now. The on-time deadline is 2 November at 8pm PT, with a decision by 11 December. Late applications are still read, but with no promised reply date. Promising teams are invited to a video interview and get detailed feedback either way.
