The Yale World Fellows Program is a four-month, full-time residential fellowship at Yale University in New Haven, run by the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs. It brings together a small, geographically balanced cohort of established leaders from many professions, and it has a network of over 450 Fellows in more than 100 countries. It is for non-US citizens (dual US citizens can apply) who are five to twenty-five years into their careers and have a proven record of impact. There is no age limit, and the average Fellow is 39. You need fluent English. Full-time students and academics are not accepted. From mid-August to mid-December you join weekly seminars, get individual and group coaching, audit Yale courses, give talks and mentor Yale students. Fellows receive a taxable living stipend, a furnished apartment, medical insurance and round-trip travel from their home country. The pages do not give the stipend amount. Applications for the 2027 programme close on Wednesday, 2 December at 14:00 Eastern Time. You apply online. Create an account, then upload a CV (up to 3 pages), a personal statement (up to 600 words) and a brief video statement recorded in the platform. Request three recommendation letters and pay the $20 fee. Competition is very strong, so read past Fellows' biographies first and start your materials early.
